"Jewel with Brunch" offers you the chance to get to know a designer on a personal level. The work of the designer is exhibited in the gallery. We first have a conversation accompanied by a glass of bubbles. Then we all enjoy an extensive brunch together. You get the chance to ask all your questions and exchange ideas.

Peter Vermandere is a real jewelry artist and a known value in the Flemish jewelry landscape. Peter makes unique designs that result from experiments with all kinds of materials and techniques. A couple of years ago, he transformed a panel of the Atomium into a jewelry series. Peter can be considered a sculptor as well as a gold smith. The use of irregular pearls and stones often returns in his designs.

Silver Market

On Tuesday May 1st, 2011 Sterckshof Silver Museum in Deurne is holding a Silver Market for the eighth year running. The market is held in the French garden on the museum grounds where you can get to know antique dealers and contemporary designers from Belgium and abroad. Nathalie Perneel will represent TWEE.

Workshops and Open day

The workshop programme of 2012 is nearly half over, so it's time to focus on the second half of the programme. Some new subjects are being introduced, like silverclay, granulation, chasing, enamelling and our first workshop for children. Are you interested in registering for a workshop, but would you still like to get some more information? Just come to the gallery on June 5th from 11am to 6pm and we'll provide more information and examples of jewelry made during the workshops. During this "open day" you can also register on site.

We first have a conversation accompanied by a glass of bubbles. Then we all enjoy an extensive brunch together. You get the chance to ask all your questions and exchange ideas.

Nevin Arig likes to let her eyes wander in nature. She looks at all imperfections, all things incomplete. She observes the peel and pulp of fruits to discover the secret world of cells. Her work is intuitive. The changes of the seasons allow her to resist the monotony of current life and appreciate the transient moments.

This brunch will take place in English!
